The Middle East Chapter Youth Wing is back with its second
edition of the Youth Wing newsletter. The first issue was released during August
and from there it has only grown to reach new heights. The biggest change is
the amount of contents which has increased and also the number of events
conducted by the Youth Wing. The youth wing newsletter was started along with
the first ever Memon bowling championship and was an initiative taken by
Muhammad Salmaan to be a source of funding the youth wing projects and events. “We
have received tremendous response over the course of time, and I am glad to say
that this project is here to stay and will only grow further as the time
passes” says Muhammad Salmaan, Chairman of the Youth Wing Middle East Chapter.
The team has also grown significantly since August, taking
the total number of volunteers from 13 to 19. It is an achievement to be proud
of, and also an achievement to have gathered the memon youth at a single platform.
This edition of the newsletter will give you the highlights of what's been done
since August and also our future plans.
This newsletter is also a platform for those Memons who love
writing, the youth wing wants to promote and educate everyone through such
intellectual writing. The Youth Wing has a separate team who works very hard on
the theme and collecting articles from different memons across the Middle East
to make sure the newsletter is up to the standard we want it to be.
This newsletter features all our events and tribute to Zaid
Rao & special mention of late Md. Ghazi. This newsletter will also take you
through to some brilliant writing by our memon youth. Annual General Meeting
was held at Dubai is also a part of the newsletter for those to read who missed
out being a part of the cluster of events conducted by the Middle East Chapter.
This project has been taken into consideration as a source
to gain some financial benefits for our events via advertisement spots
available for every month or a bundle offer package.

World Memon Organization Middle East Chapter Youth Wing has
been one of the most active organizations across the Globe with back to back
events. After two big events, the youth wing reverted to some fun and held
Memon Bowling Championship 2013 for men and women.
The tournament featured some great talent, M. Saleh topping
the list by scoring 238 in an individual round; however the Youth Wing had a
twist during the men’s MBC. The top 4 of the championship were all members of
youth wing and they decided to step aside to let the others take the gold. A
gesture portraying great team work.
The women MBC also featured a twist when the two finalists
tied and had a restart to the finals with the table topper Rehab clinching the
title eventually. The motive of keeping these tournaments was to have fun and
also spending the weekend in a fun and sporting way.
For the men’s tournament, Mr. Farook Kassim was the chief
guest and spoke very highly of the efforts from the Youth wing to unite the Memon
community and putting together such wonderful events. The MBC ’13 also was the
launch of WMO M.E Youth Wing’s newsletter and Website.
