When it was prize distribution ceremony for sports tournaments organised by Memon Youth Association, Leicester, It's not just our youngsters winning trophies, awards and recognition, we are pleased to announce that some of our 'elders' in the community are also making headlines locally and internationally.
We would like to congratulate Farouk Bha (Alimahomed) and Sikander Bha (Chambo) for their following recent achievements:
Farouk Bha recently got presented with the LABA Award on 21 November, 2013, as the Patron of LABA (Leicestershire Asian Business Association); recognised for his achievements and contribution to the community.

While Sikander Bha has been elected as Vice President of Europe Chapter of the World Memon Organisation at their recent 11th AGM (Annual General Meeting) in Dubai on 17-18 November, 2013 – he will now be liaising with WMO on Europe's behalf.
During meeting with Sikanderbha Chambo - New Vice President of WMO Europe Chapter, he mentioned about his role in WMO and said "My role as the vice president for WMO Europe chapter will be that for whole of Europe I will communicate and inter-connect link with the rest of the world, that is Europe chapter, Africa chapter, Middle East chapter, India chapter, Pakistan chapter, Sri Lanka chapter, Far East chapter, American chapter and Japan chapter, ie wherever the Memons are in the WMO. "
